Women get periods every month. But there a lot of times they experience situations where periods come before time or don’t come even after 35 days. This means that you have an irregular cycle. This may be due to some illness, medicines, stress, travel, or change in routine.

Most women these days look for solutions to get periods immediately, and this may because of the discomfort caused to them because of their irregular periods. Some of them believe there is no solution to this, but that is not true. You should try natural methods to bring your periods as soon as possible. For some these methods work within an hour, however, for some, it takes a day or two.

You can try the methods at home and even share the information with your friends, or family if they are too trying to get periods

In this article, we are going to share information about how to get periods as soon as possible.

  1. Get periods by Home remedy

Take 4 cups of water in a utensil and add 4 teaspoons of carom seeds to it. Cover it and put it on low flame. Let it boil, and when it remains only one cup, and drink it. It may taste bitter, and you can add honey to enhance it. However, for the best results, drink it as it is. This method is super effective and will bring your period within a maximum of a day.

Take this drink just before going to bed and avoid eating anything after you drink it.

  1. Get periods by Papaya

To recover your irregular periods, try eating papaya twice every day until your period. Papaya raises levels of contractions in the uterus and helps in the production of estrogen, and both of these may trigger periods. You can snack on fresh and raw pieces of it or even blend it into juice. Raw papaya would help in inducing periods

  1.   Get periods by Ginger

Ginger can be really helpful in stimulating menstrual flow. It may have some side effects like acidity. It can be consumed in form of tea or juice. You can also consume raw ginger with honey. Ginger increases the heat in the uterus which helps in bringing periods earlier.

For extremely late periods, you can drink a combination of parsley and ginger tea. It may be helpful.

  1. Get periods by Aloe vera

It is mostly used in treating an upset stomach. However, it can also be used in stimulating the menstrual flow as well. Cut an aloe vera leaf and squeeze out its gel. Mix the gel with honey and consume it before breakfast. This process is slow and may take months, but if consistent, you may notice that your irregular cycle is not irregular anymore.

 

  1. Get periods by Parsley

Adding parsley to your daily diet can be helpful as parsley is rich in vitamin C, which will help in bringing your period early. It should have 6g of parsley leaves which can be consumed in 3 doses of 2g each. You can also prepare parsley tea.

 

  1. Get periods by Vitamin C foods.

Vitamin C foods increase the estrogen level in our body which again increases the Stimulation of uterine contractions, encouraging the blood flow. Vitamin c foods even help in controlling irregular periods. They reduce progesterone levels which will prevent an early period. Increase the intake of vitamin-rich foods to solve the problem of irregular periods. Some foods that are rich in vitamin c are kiwi, citrus fruits like oranges, strawberries, potatoes, etc.

  1. More foods

Dates, pumpkins, salmon, almonds, pineapple, and yogurt can be some more foods that help in prompting periods.

  1. Get periods by Yoga

There are theories that tell us that bringing yoga and exercise in your routine can also help you with your menstrual cycle.  It may loosen our muscles and help periods come faster.

There may be instances where you NEED to have your periods within an hour. Periods cannot be controlled. No medication will surely bring your periods within 1 hour. Some medications can delay your periods. So in cases of emergencies, you can just choose to delay them instead of expecting them within an hour.

 

The methods discussed above can also cause miscarriage. So if you’re late on your period because of pregnancy, consuming these foods is not recommended. Consult a doctor before taking these methods.

 

Irregular periods are a common problem among women these days. This may be because of the hormonal imbalance or change of schedule. Don’t worry too much if you come across this problem.  Follow the methods above to regularize your periods. You may not see the results instantly, but you will see them with time.
